A Comparative-Correlative Study of Test Rubrics Used as Benchmarks in Assessing IELTS and TOEFL Speaking Skills

The study focused on the comparative correlative Test Rubrics Used as Benchmarks in Assessing International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and of a Foreign (TOEFL) Speaking Skills. To carry out this project, researcher searched for IELTS TOEFL candidates recruited finally selected 37 male female who took both standard tests various reasons. statistical results obtained (mainly Pearson's correlation coefficient moments) showed significant joint variability between scores derived from test bars frequency band description factors, bars, assessment scores. criteria. show that there is high index (0.862**) two scoring systems speaking. also reflect (.903**) systems, assessing general proficiency speaking ability using rubrics.
